The 76ers’ 2025-26 schedule has officially dropped!
The Sixers will open the season on the road at the Boston Celtics on Wednesday, Oct. 22. The two clubs will meet twice in the first two weeks of the new season, with a Sixers home game scheduled for Friday, Oct. 31 in the Emirates NBA Cup. Last season, Philadelphia and Boston did not play each other until Christmas Day.
Philadelphia’s 2025-26 home opener is set for Saturday, Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. ET against the Charlotte Hornets. Soon after the calendar flips to 2026, the Sixers’ longest homestand arrives with six home contests over 11 days. Cleveland (twice), Indiana, Phoenix, Houston, and New York will all visit between Jan. 14 and Jan. 24.
NBA CUP AND NEW NATIONAL TV PARTNERS
Emirates NBA Cup Group Play starts earlier this season, with the Sixers and Celtics squaring off in Philadelphia on Halloween. By comparison, the Sixers’ group play opener in 2024-25 took place on Nov. 12. The full schedule for the Sixers in East Group B is as follows:
The quarterfinals are scheduled for Dec. 9 and Dec. 10, with the semifinals and championship game shifting to Las Vegas on Saturday, Dec. 13 and Tuesday, Dec. 16, respectively.
All NBC games will be simulcast on Peacock. Tipoff times for nationally televised games are scheduled for 10 minutes after the listed start time. The Sixers are slated for five Tuesday games on NBC, four games on Amazon Prime Video, three games on ESPN/ABC, and a pair of games on Peacock (including Jan. 5 vs. Denver).
Saturday, Jan. 24, against the New York Knicks – the finale of the season-long six-game homestand – tips off at 3 p.m. ET on ABC. Earlier that same week, the Sixers will take part in the NBA on MLK Day with a 7 p.m. home game against the reigning Eastern Conference champion Indiana Pacers.
NBA ON MLK DAY
For the 34th time in franchise history, the Sixers will play on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This year marks the 40th edition of the NBA on MLK Day. As part of the league’s slate for Monday, Jan. 19, the Sixers will host Indiana at 7 p.m. ET.
