Since the Orlando Magic joined the NBA via expansion in 1989, this matchup has featured several other stars, including Basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal and Dwight Howard, who also suited up for the Sixers in his career. The 76ers swept the Magic in their 2023-24 season series. . On December 27 the 76ers visited Orlando, winning by 20 points. Harris, Melton, and Maxey combined for 67 points. The 76ers recorded a second road win against the Magic on January 19, 2024. Their last matchup of the season on April 12 was another victory for the Sixers, with a final score of 125-113. Embiid and Maxey combined for 60 points.
