76ers Assists for Safe Communities

As a part of the Assists for Safe Communities Initiative, 76ers players and the organization will utilize the captive audience of the NBA playoffs to raise awareness and donate valuable funds to create positive impact around the gun violence epidemic in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Over the course of Games 1-4 of the 76ers-Celtics Eastern Conference Semifinals series, select 76ers players paired together to donate $760 per assist recorded by the team. The funds raised from each game benefited local non-profit organizations specializing in gun violence prevention and services for victims. With 70 assists, the Sixers donated a total of $53,200.
