Thunder Acquires Trade Exception and Protected Second Round Draft Pick

OKLAHOMA CITY, July 14, 2015 – The Oklahoma City Thunder acquired a trade exception and a protected 2018 second round draft pick from the Boston Celtics in exchange for forward Perry Jones, a 2019 second round draft pick and cash considerations, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti.

In three seasons with the Thunder, Jones appeared in 143 games (21 starts) and averaged 3.4 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.4 assists in 11.7 minutes per game. 

The Thunder will have one year from today to exercise the trade exception.
