Thunder Announces Training Camp Roster

OKLAHOMA CITY, September 27, 2010 – Oklahoma City Thunder Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti announced today the team’s training camp roster for the 2010-11 season. The Thunder has added guard Demond “Tweety” Carter, guard Jerome Dyson and guard/forward Elijah Milsap to the roster for camp.

The Thunder will open training camp on Tuesday, Sept. 28, at the INTEGRIS Health Thunder Training Center. The Thunder will play its first preseason game on Wednesday, Oct. 6, when it faces the Charlotte Bobcats in Fayetteville, NC.

Carter (5-11, 185) played four seasons at Baylor University, averaging 11.0 points, 3.6 assists, 2.2 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 30.3 minutes in 131 games (89 starts). The Reserve, LA, native concluded his career as Baylor's all-time leader in Big 12 wins (29), games played (131) and minutes played (3,973).

Dyson (6-4, 190) was a four-year starter at Connecticut, averaging 14.4 points, 2.9 assists, 1.7 steals and 30.4 minutes in 113 games (106 starts). A native of Potomac, MD, he finished 12th all-time at UConn with 1,630 career points.

Milsap (6-6, 215) played last season with the University of Alabama-Birmingham after spending two seasons at Louisiana-Lafayette. In his lone season with the Blazers, the Grambling, LA, native averaged 16.1 points, 9.5 rebounds (ranked 1st in Conference USA), 1.8 assists, 1.6 steals and 33.1 minutes in 34 games (all starts).
