Thunder 2013 First Round Playoff Schedule Announced

OKLAHOMA CITY, April 18, 2013 – The No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder will match-up against the No. 8 seed Houston Rockets in the First Round of the 2013 NBA Western Conference Playoffs, it was announced today. 

 

With Games 1 and 2 set to take place at Chesapeake Energy Arena, the series will tip-off Sunday, Apr. 21 at 8:30 pm (CT) followed by Game 2 on Wednesday, Apr. 24 at 6:00 pm (CT). 

 

The series will then shift to Houston for Games 3 and 4. Game 3 will take place on Saturday, Apr. 27 at 8:30 PM (CT) while Game 4 is set for Monday, Apr. 29 (Time TBD) at Toyota Center. If necessary, Games 5, 6, and 7 will be played at alternating sites beginning with a home contest for the Thunder on Wednesday, May 1 followed by Game 6 in Houston on Friday, May 3 and concluding with Game 7 in Oklahoma City on Sunday, May 5. The game times and national TV schedule for Game 4 and Games 5-7 (if necessary) will become available at a later time.

 

The first four games of the series will be broadcast locally on FS Oklahoma. Additionally, TNT will televise Game 1 and Game 2 while ESPN is scheduled to broadcast Game 3 to a national audience. All games can be heard on the Thunder Radio Network, led by WWLS The Sports Animal.
