OKLAHOMA CITY, July 2, 2022 – The Oklahoma City Thunder has signed forward Eugene Omoruyi to a Two-Way Contract, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not released.
Omoruyi (6-6, 235) [oh-mo-ROO-yee] spent part of the 2021-22 season on a Two-Way Contract with the Dallas Mavericks where in four appearances, he totaled seven points, seven rebounds and two assists in 18 minutes. In eight games (seven starts) with the Mavericks’ G League affiliate, the Texas Legends, he averaged 15.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 25.3 minutes per game.
