Thunder Coding


Thunder Coding offers hands-on curriculum for youth ages 7-14 with skill development in coding, design, and collaboration. This is an opportunity for ingenuity and innovation to naturally cross with sports entertainment. Within the Google Innovation Lab, local youth can engage in Thunder designed assignments from beginner level to advanced. Camp instruction is facilitated by iCode, a local educational partner that excels at coding curriculum in fun-centric environments.

Block One is a four-hour, beginner level coding session for ages 7-14 facilitated by iCode and powered by Google. The session will focus on the basics of coding by creating your own Rumble video game through Construct 3.

Time: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. (ages 7-9). 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. (ages 10-14)

Includes: Campers will receive a T-shirt, Thunder brick set, Construct 3 login and a ticket to a Thunder basketball game for the 2021-22 season.
