After beginning their Summer League journey back on July 5 in Salt Lake City, the Summer 76ers will play their final game of the Las Vegas Summer League on Saturday against the Chicago Bulls.

The Sixers (2-2) have a chance to finish the Vegas portion of their schedule with three straight wins following a 97-71 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Friday. They blitzed Denver right away, only surrendered nine points in the first quarter, and never trailed in the contest.

Five Philadelphia players scored in double figures, including two reserves. Grant Riller came off the bench to pour in 13 of his game-high 18 points in the first half.

The team shot 14-for-33 (.424) from 3-point range in the win.

Friday’s Key Contributors

Grant Riller

  • In 18 minutes off the bench, Riller led all scorers with 18 points (7-13 fg, 2-4 3fg, 2-4 ft).

Trevelin Queen

  • Queen followed up his strong Wednesday performance with another productive outing: 17 points, five rebounds, a team-leading five assists, and a steal.
  • The reigning NBA G League MVP made five of his seven total shots, three of his five attempts from long range, and all four of his free throws.
  • Joe returned to the lineup and played 23 minutes, posting 14 points (5-11 fg, 4-9 3fg), five rebounds, three assists, and a game-high-tying four steals.

Justin Smith/Aminu Mohammed

  • Smith and Mohammed both contributed 10 points. They also made their mark on the boards, with Smith pulling down a game-high-tying eight rebounds and Mohammed grabbing six of his own in 17 minutes of action.

Opponent Outlook:

The Bulls (3-1) defeated Charlotte, 89-73, on Thursday. First-round pick Dalen Terry, selected by Chicago with the No. 18 overall pick in this year’s NBA Draft, led the way with 20 points.
