The Summer 76ers will play their penultimate Summer League matchup Friday in Las Vegas, taking on the Denver Nuggets.

The Sixers head into Friday’s meeting back in the win column, after taking a 75-71 victory over the Miami Heat Wednesday.

Trevelin Queen and Malik Ellison led the way in Wednesday’s win, while Isaiah Joe, Jaden Springer, and Myles Powell were out.

Wednesday’s Key Contributors 

Trevelin Queen

  • Queen recorded a team-high 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists in his 30 minutes of play.

“Just bringing energy and playing hard throughout the whole game,” Queen said of what he prides himself on as a player. “Whether it’s offense, defense, on the bench, getting water…whatever it is, I just feel like I do it at a high level.”

Malik Ellison

  • Ellison notched a 12-point, 10-rebound double-double, plus two assists, a steal, and two blocks.
  • Ellison shot 6-for-13 from the field in 28 minutes of play.

Tyler Bey

  • Bey finished with 14 points, three rebounds, and a block. He shot a perfect 4-for-4 from the field, 1-for-1 from deep, and 5-for-6 from the foul line.
  • Bey finished at a game-high +14.

Cassius Winston

  • Winston tallied nine points, two rebounds, and seven assists. He shot 4-for-7 from the field in 28 minutes.
  • Foster recorded nine points, five rebounds, and a block. He shot 3-for-6 from the field and 3-for-4 from the foul line.

Following Friday’s matchup, the Sixers will play one more game at Las Vegas Summer League on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET against the Chicago Bulls.

Opponent Outlook:

The Nuggets won their most recent Summer League matchup on Wednesday, beating the LA Clippers, 80-75.

Matt Mitchell was Denver’s leading scorer, finishing with 17 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals. He shot 6-for-12 from the field and 5-for-10 from long range in the win.

Jack White added 14 points, six rebounds, an assist, two steals, and a block, while Villanova product Collin Gillespie recorded 12 points, five rebounds, four assists, a steal, and a block.
