McClung becomes the eighth player in franchise history to participate in the contest
PHILADELPHIA – FEB. 14, 2023 – Philadelphia 76ers two-way player Mac McClung will be one of four players participating in the 2023 AT&T Slam Dunk Contest, the NBA announced today.
McClung becomes the eighth player in franchise history – and the first since Andre Iguodala in 2006 – to participate in the mid-season competition.
Signed as a two-way player by the 76ers earlier today, McClung, 24, has appeared in 18 games for the Blue Coats and has averaged 19.1 points and 4.7 assists while shooting 57.9% from the field.
McClung is set to compete against KJ Martin (Houston), Trey Murphy III (New Orleans), and Jericho Sims (New York) in the four-person contest.
