The 76ers signed Jeff Dowtin Jr. from their G League affiliate - the defending-champion and first-place Delaware Blue Coats - to a two-way contract on Saturday.

- The 26-year-old Dowtin stands 6-foot-3 and hails from Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
- Dowtin played collegiately at the University of Rhode Island from 2016-20.
- He played for now-UConn head coach Dan Hurley during his first two seasons at URI, and the team went to the NCAA Tournament both years.
- In an upset win over sixth-seeded Creighton in the 2017 NCAA Tournament, Dowtin scored 23 points (10-10 ft) as a true freshman.
- His first professional season was the 2021 NBA G League bubble season, at which he helped the then-Lakeland (now Osceola) Magic defeat the Blue Coats in the Finals.
- Dowtin has played 34 career NBA games with Golden State, Milwaukee, Orlando, and Toronto.
