  • The 26-year-old Dowtin stands 6-foot-3 and hails from Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
  • Dowtin played collegiately at the University of Rhode Island from 2016-20.
    • He played for now-UConn head coach Dan Hurley during his first two seasons at URI, and the team went to the NCAA Tournament both years.
    • In an upset win over sixth-seeded Creighton in the 2017 NCAA Tournament, Dowtin scored 23 points (10-10 ft) as a true freshman.
