76ers Set for Summer League Finale Against New Orleans Pelicans

The Summer 76ers (1-3) will wrap up their run in Las Vegas Sunday, facing the New Orleans Pelicans (3-1).

The Sixers played their final pool play matchup Friday, falling to the LA Clippers, 102-91, with Jaden Springer (15 pts, 4 reb, 5 stl) leading the way for Philadelphia once again.

Following Saturday’s practice, Springer reflected on the past two-plus weeks spent with the team’s new coaching staff:

"It’s been great to get to know everybody, and get used to everybody, learning the system, learning the offense. The staff here - the energy’s great. It’s a lot of teaching, it’s a lot of learning."

Sunday’s opponent New Orleans finished 3-1 in pool play, tied for the league’s fourth-best record.

Dereon Seabron was the Pelicans’ leading scorer their last time out - a 89-83 win Thursday over Charlotte - finishing with 20 points on 9-for-13 shooting from the field. Dyson Daniels added 16 points and three steals.

Sunday’s matchup is a 3:30 p.m. ET tip.

Friday’s Key Performers:

Jaden Springer

  • Springer scored a team-high 15 points, plus four rebounds, an assist, five steals, and three blocks in 26 minutes.

Javonte Smart

  • Smart totalled 13 points, four rebounds, four assists, and a steal in his 26 minutes of play.

Greg Brown III

  • Brown finished with 12 points, a team-high eight rebounds, and three blocks, shooting 4-for-6 overall and perfect 4-for-4 free throw shooting in 29 minutes.

Louis King

  • King tallied 11 points, six rebounds, and three assists, shooting 4-for-8 from the field and 2-for-5 from deep.

Ricky Council IV

  • Council recorded 11 points and four rebounds in 23 minutes.
