76ers' President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey comments on the team's 2022 Summer League Roster

The roster is headlined by Charles Bassey, Isaiah Joe, Trevelin Queen, Paul Reed and Jaden Springer. The Sixers drafted Bassey and Springer in 2021, with Joe and Reed getting the call the year prior.

76ers Skill Development Coach Tyler Lashbrook will coach in Salt Lake City and Dwayne Jones in Las Vegas. They will be joined on the coaching staff by Jason Love and Spencer Rivers.

12 - Twelve members of the summer roster hold NBA G League experience.

  • Fifty-six percent of all players in the 2022 NBA Playoffs played in the G League.
  • Trevelin Queen was the 2021-22 Kia NBA G League Most Valuable Player with Rio Grande Valley. He was also the NBA G League Finals MVP, as well an All-NBA G League First Team and NBA G League All-Defensive Team selection.
  • Paul Reed was the 2020-21 NBA G League Most Valuable Player with the Delaware Blue Coats.

7 - Seven of the G League alums on the Sixers’ summer league roster appeared with the Blue Coats. Charles Bassey was named to the All-League, All-Defensive, and All-Rookie teams this past season.

  • Charles Bassey
  • Charlie Brown Jr.
  • Isaiah Joe
  • Myles Powell

  • Jaden Springer

“We think [Springer] can take a big leap forward. He was on that championship G League team. Defensively, he’s there. He’s only 19. He’s defensively an NBA player in my opinion. And then the offense was really coming on strong… a lot of guys take a huge step forward in Year 2, and I think we expect that with Jaden.”

Springer posted a 30-point performance in March and later opened the G League playoffs with 26 and 30-point outings, respectively.
