Robert Covington rejoined the 76ers in November 2023, following a three-team trade. Covington originally played for the Sixers from 2014 - 2018.
Covington is in his 11th NBA season, averaging 10.8 points per game over his career. A Chicago-area native, he played college basketball at Tennessee State and began his NBA career with the Houston Rockets. Covington has also played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Portland Trail Blazers, and LA Clippers.
During his first stint with the Sixers, Covington averaged 12.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game. He has played in over 600 games throughout his career.
