In the summer of 2023, the 76ers signed Mo Bamba , one of 15 players since 2018-19 with at least 2,000 points, 365 blocks, and 100 steals.

Bamba, a Harlem, New York native, was selected with the 6th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and spent years with the Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Lakers before arriving in Philadelphia. In 275 career NBA games heading into the 2023-24 regular season, Bamba holds averages of 7.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game.

Before his time in the league, Bamba was highly touted as one of the nation’s best high school prospects and committed to the University of Texas. In his one season with the Longhorns, he averaged a 12.9-point, 10.5 rebound double-double in 30 games. He also blocked 3.7 shots per contest, and was named to the 2018 Big 12 All-Defensive and All-Newcomer Teams, along with receiving Second Team All Big 12 honors.
