Paul George joined the Philadelphia 76ers in July 2024, signing as a free agent, and wearing No. 8 for the team.
After spending the past five seasons with the LA Clippers, George set the Clippers franchise mark for three-point field goals (820). He was named to three All-Star Games in the past five years. In 263 games (all starts) with the Clippers, he produced 23.0 points on 45.5-percent shooting and a 39.7-percent mark from three, 6.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.5 steals.
George played in 74 games (all starts) in 2023-24, averaging 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals (sixth in NBA) per game. In his 14th NBA season, the Palmdale, California native registered career shooting highs from the field (47.1% FG), beyond the arc (41.3% 3FG), and the free-throw line (90.7% FT).
The 2023-24 season also represented the sixth straight in which George averaged at least 20.0 points on 35.0-percent shooting from beyond the arc.
Originally selected by Indiana with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, George has appeared in 867 games (819 starts) for Indiana, Oklahoma City, and the Clippers. He holds career averages of 20.8 points (44.0% FG, 38.5% 3FG, 85.4% FT), 6.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.7 steals in 33.7 minutes.
The nine-time All-Star and six-time All-NBA selection has also been named to four NBA All-Defensive Teams throughout his decorated career, the first of which came in 2012-13, when he also captured the league’s Most Improved Player award.
