The Philadelphia 76ers signed Jabari Walker to a two-way contract in July 2025.
Walker comes to the East Coast after spending a few seasons out west, where he was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers in the second round of the 2022 NBA Draft. In three seasons with Portland, he played in 188 games (24 starts), averaging 6.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per game while shooting 46.5% from the field and 31.8% on three-pointers. In the 2024-25 season, he nabbed 22 rebounds in an April game against the Hornets, a career best.
Prior to the NBA, Walker spent two seasons at the University of Colorado. He was selected to the Pac-12 All-Freshman First Team in 2021. In that year’s NCAA tournament, Walker recorded 24 points in a win over Georgetown, draining all five of his three-pointers and going 9-for-10 from the court.
During his second year, Walker started all 33 games and led the Buffaloes with 14.6 points per game. His 9.4 rebounds per game was the best in the Pac-12. Walker finished the 2021-22 season with 17 double-doubles, the best in the conference and tenth-best in the country. To top off the year, he earned a spot on the All-Pac-12 First Team.
