Jeff Dowtin Jr. signed with the Philadelphia 76ers initially on March 2, 2024 via a two-way contract. Dowtin joined the Delaware Blue Coats in November 2023. Throughout the season, Dowtin has averaged 19.1 points, 5.4 assists, and 1.2 steals in 20 games with the Blue Coats.

Dowtin, a Maryland native, played collegiately for the University of Rhode Island from 2016-2020. Dowtin and the URI team made it to the NCAA Tournament two years in a row, in 2017 and 2018.

Dowtin has played for Golden State, Milwaukee, Orlando, and Toronto. While playing for the Raptors, he played under now 76ers Head Coach Nick Nurse. In 2021, Dowtin was a member of the G-League Championship winning Lakeland Magic team.
