The Result
Rookie Frank Kaminsky led the Hornets with 19 points on July 10 in Orlando as Charlotte picked up its second victory of the summer over the Brooklyn Nets, 82-73. Charlotte finished the Orlando Summer Pro League with a record of 2-3.

Turning Points
The Hornets clinched their second win against the Nets in Orlando behind the strong play of two of the three Hornets under contract. P.J. Hairston finished the first half with 13 points, which included three 3-point shots. Frank the Tank started his scoring with a turnaround hook shot with 5:05 remaining in the first quarter and finished the game 7-for-15 from the field, with one 3-pointer.

Inside the Box Score
Kaminsky played 32 minutes and finished with 19 points and six rebounds… Hairston was close behind, finishing with 16 points and eight rebounds… Aaron Harrison scored 15 points and had five rebounds while Troy Daniels chipped in seven points and eight rebounds.

Hornets Player of the Game
Kaminksy continued to put up strong performances, both offensively and defensively. He used his size and smooth pump fake to help him score a team-high of 19 points to go with six rebounds and two assists.

Nets Player of the Game
First-round draft pick Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led the Nets at both ends of the floor, scoring a game-high 22 points and pulling down 11 rebounds.

Game Notes
Troy Daniels was back in action after missing Wednesday’s game due to a strained right shoulder. Harrison’s dunk and Hairston’s 3-pointer in back-to-back plays sparked the Hornets to a 46-35 halftime lead… In the second half, the Hornets maintained their lead and finished the game shooting 43.3 percent from the field… The Nets dressed six healthy players.
