"The step he took this year is extremely hard. We should all learn not to bet against Tyrese [Maxey], given that he's beat expectations every single season. Tyrese gets all the credit. That was not a given that he could do all that, and it's very exciting that he did."

“We’re focused on Joel [Embiid] and Tyrese [Maxey], and we’re focused on now.
“Joel, Tyrese, and Nick [Nurse] give me the confidence that we’re going to have a good shot. I’ve just got to keep working hard to put us in an even better position, and we have an opportunity to do that this offseason.”
