Pre-Draft Workout #6

In preparation for the 2023 NBA Draft on June 22, the Charlotte Hornets hosted a pre-draft workout on Wednesday, May 31 featuring the following players:

Marcus Bagley (F, Arizona State)

Bagley (6-8, 215) put up 10.9 points on 37.7% shooting – 33.3% from 3-point range – 5.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 17 games (16 starts) over three collegiate seasons at Arizona State. His older brother Marvin Bagley III was picked second overall by Sacramento in the 2018 NBA Draft and currently plays for Detroit.

Arthur Kaluma (F, Creighton)

Kaluma (6-7, 220) tallied marks of 11.8 points on 42.3% shooting, 6.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 37 starts this past season to help lead Creighton to the NCAA Tournament’s South Regional Final. He received Ugandan citizenship in 2020 and represented the National Team at AfroBasket 2021 and the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifiers.

Elijah McCadden (G, Memphis)

Originally from Rocky Mount, NC, McCadden (6-4, 210) averaged 7.6 points on 53.7% shooting, 4.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists over 35 appearances (22 starts) as a fifth-year senior at Memphis. McCadden played his first four collegiate seasons at Georgia Southern (2018-22) and was the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Sixth Man of the Year.

Filip Rebrača (F, Iowa)

A former three-year player at North Dakota State, Rebrača (6-9, 222) averaged 14.1 points on 57.1% shooting, 7.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 33 starts as a fifth-year senior at Iowa. His father, Željko, played 215 games for Detroit, the LA Clippers and Atlanta from 2001-06, was a two-time EuroLeague champion and a 1996 Olympic silver medalist for Yugoslavia.

David Singleton (G, UCLA)

Singleton (6-4, 210), put up 9.0 points on 42.7% shooting – 42.4% from 3-point range – 2.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 37 appearances (16 starts) as a fifth-year senior this past season. He sits first on UCLA’s all-time leaderboard for games played (164), third in 3-point field goals (219) and owns the Pac-12 Conference’s ninth-best career 3-point percentage (43.4%).

Oscar Tshiebwe (F, Kentucky)

The 2022 National College Player of the Year recorded 16.5 points on 56.0% shooting, 13.7 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.6 blocks in 32 appearances (30 starts) his senior season at Kentucky. Tshiebwe (6-9, 260), who played his first two years at West Virginia, is originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and a two-time NCAA rebounding leader (2022 and 2023).
