Hornets To Hold Mini-Camp July 3-6 at Novant Health Training Center
July 1, 2022 – The Charlotte Hornets announced today the team’s roster for NBA 2K23 Summer League 2022, which begins July 7. Greensboro Swarm Head Coach Jordan Surenkamp will serve as head coach of the Hornets Summer League Team, highlighted by Kai Jones and JT Thor along with 2022 NBA Draft picks, Mark Williams and Bryce McGowens. The team’s full Summer League roster is listed below.
Prior to departing for Las Vegas, the Hornets will hold a four-day mini-camp at the Novant Health Training Center inside Spectrum Center from Sunday, July 3 through Wednesday, July 6.
The Charlotte Hornets open Summer League on the second day of competition with a game against the Indiana Pacers on Friday, July 8 at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN. The Hornets will take on the Los Angeles Lakers on July 10 at 9:30 p.m. ET on NBA TV. On July 13, Charlotte squares off with the Cleveland Cavaliers on ESPNU with tipoff scheduled for 5 p.m. ET. In their fourth contest, the Hornets round out group play on July 14 against the Chicago Bulls at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
All 75 games of Summer League action will take place over 11 days at Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and will air live on television on ESPN networks or NBA TV while all games will also be available to stream on ESPN+ and the ESPN App.
