October 20, 2023 – Charlotte Hornets President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Mitch Kupchak announced today the team has signed free agent guard Terrell Brown Jr. The Greensboro Swarm, Charlotte’s NBA G League affiliate, acquired Brown’s G League rights from the Memphis Hustle earlier today.
Brown Jr. appeared in 34 contests for the Hustle between the G League Showcase and regular season in 2022-23, recording 7.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 16.8 minutes per game. He was named All-Pac-12 First Team as a senior at the University of Washington in 2021-22 after averaging 21.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.2 steals in 32 games (32 starts) for the Huskies. His collegiate career included one season at the University of Arizona (2020-21) and two years at the University of Seattle (2018-20), where he was a two-time All-WAC honoree.
