Hornets Host Another Full Draft Workout

In preparation for the 2015 NBA Draft, the Charlotte Hornets held their eighth draft workout on June 16 with Treveon Graham (VCU), Trevor Lacey (NC State), Sir’Dominic Pointer (St. John’s), Shannon Scott (Ohio State), Seth Tuttle (Northern Iowa) and Alan Williams (Santa Barbara) in to showcase their skills in front of the Hornets basketball operations staff.

Treveon Graham | Guard | 6-6 | 220 | Virginia Commonwealth University
Graham was One of 15 players in VCU history to score 1,500 points, scored in double-figures in 75 of his 112 career games, earned 11 career double-doubles (five in each of his sophomore and junior seasons), and has ranked in the top-20 in the Atlantic 10 in both scoring and rebounding as both a sophomore and junior. In the 2014-2015 season he earned John Wooden Award Preseason Watch List, James Naismith Award Preseason Watch List, Blue Ribbon Basketball Magazine Preseason All-American, Preseason Atlantic 10 First Team, and appeared in all 33 games, averaging a career-high 16.2 points and 7.1 rebounds.

Trevor Lacey | Guard | 6-3 | 208 | North Carolina State University
Lacey earned 2015 All-ACC, NABC All-District and 2015 Team MVP, played 69 games over two seasons at Alabama, making 52 starts where he averaged 9.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game while shooting .346 from beyond the three-point line. During the 2014-2015 season he Voted ACC Player of the Week (Jan. 12) and posted career-high 26 points vs. Richmond (Nov. 26).

Sir’Dominic Pointer | Center | 6-5 | 198 | St. Johns
Pointer became the 22nd player in St. John’s history to be named the 2015 Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) Haggerty Award Winner, he was honored as the 2014-15 Big East Co-Defensive Player of the Year and Most Improved Player, earned All-Big East Second Team honors, became the 50th player in St. John’s history to record 1,000 points, and finished career ranked third in St. John’s history with 172 blocks and fifth with 200 steals, making him the only player in program history to rank in the top five of both charts. He finished his final season ranked second in the BIG EAST with nine double-doubles.

Shannon Scott | Guard | 6-1 | 185 | Ohio State University
Scott earned 2013 Big Ten All-Defensive Team (coaches), 2014 Big Ten All-Defensive Team, 2015 honorable mention All-Big Ten (media) and Nominee for 2015 NABC Good Works Team, and finished career with 211 career steals, the second-most in Ohio State history. In his final season he started all 35 games, averaging 30.5 minutes per games, recorded 8.5 points, 5.9 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game, tallied a team-high 59 steals, notched double-digit assists in six games, tallied an Ohio State-record 16 assists while adding 11 points, and five rebounds and three steals vs. Sacred Heart (11/23).

Seth Tuttle | Forward | 6-8 | 240 | University of Northern Iowa
In his career Tuttle earned UNI's first men's basketball player to earn NCAA Division I All-America 2nd Team honors (AP, NABC, USBWA, Basketball Times, The Sporting News, Bleacher Report and SI.com), and earned Third Team All-America honors (USA Today, NBCSports.com, CBSSports.com). He finished his career as the No. 4 all-time scorer in Panther history with 1,747 points, tallied 21 career double-doubles, ranked No. 2 all-time at UNI in free throws made (508) and free throws attempted (675), and ranks No. 6 all-time at UNI in blocked shots. During the 2014-2015 season he was named Most Outstanding Player at the 2015 MVC Tournament.

Alan Williams | Center | 6-8 | 265 | UC Santa Barbara Gauchos
During his career, Williams earned 2013-2014 Big West Player of the Year and 3-Time First Team All-Big West, and recorded 50 career double-doubles while at UCSB. He finished his senior year averaging 17.3 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks. He averaged 21.3 PPG and 11.5 RPG as a junior, his peak season, his numbers decreased slightly his senior year due to a shoulder injury which kept him out for much of the conference season.
