Hornets Legacy Project
The Charlotte Hornets and Lowe’s partner to renovate a basketball court or Community Centers at Mecklenburg County parks or in a Charlotte Community as part of the Hornets Legacy Project Powered by Lowe’s. The mission is to promote goodwill in the community through an inclusive Hornets basketball court experience.

September 7, 2016 – Hornets Sports & Entertainment announced today that the organization is partnering with the NBA, the City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County on a Legacy Project that will bring a Hornets Experience to several neighborhood basketball courts, including Latta Park, Camp Greene Park and Tuckaseegee Park.
