In preparation for the 2015 NBA Draft, the Charlotte Hornets held their tenth draft workout on June 19 with Myles Turner (Texas) in to showcase his skills in front of the Hornets basketball operations staff.

During his career Turner became a member of USA Under-18 National Team which won the gold medal at the 2014 FIBA Americas U18 Championship in June in Colorado Springs, Colo, he set a USA U18 competition record with 18 total blocks during the five-game tournament, and earned 16th McDonald’s All-American and 11th Jordan Brand All-American in program history. In the 2014-2015 season, he finished with 10.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks.
