During Women's Empowerment Month, the Warriors recognize the women within their basketball operations department who have made a tremendous impact on the team behind the scenes.
Meet Chloe Walkup, Director of Team Operations and Family Services for the Warriors.
Walkup wears many hats with the Warriors managing game nights at Chase Center and taking care of operational tasks for players and their family members on the road. Walkup didn't initially envision working in sports, getting her start in child development. In 2014, she transitioned into the industry as a basketball operations assistant and has since worked her way up to her current director role. Walkup is in her 10th NBA season and has learned throughout her experience to stay true to herself through the ups and downs.

“My advice to women trying to get in sports is to always stay true to yourself," Walkup said. "Some days it’s not going to be perfect — nothing is perfect — stay as strong as you can be; one way or another it’s going to work out."
