Marcus Morris
At a glance: 6-9, 235 pounds, 24 years old
2012-13 stats: 19.8 minutes, 7.7 points, 3.6 rebounds per game
How he got here: Acquired in a trade with the Houston Rockets on Feb. 21, 2013
What he brings to the table: Versatility. The (slightly) younger Morris twin has vacillated between the two forward spots throughout his career, though Suns Head Coach Jeff Hornacek intends to spotlight him mostly at small forward this season. Morris' ability score in isolation face-ups, use his quickness on dribble-drives and spot up from distance will help make that transition happen.
Goal: Improve offensive efficiency (career 41.0 percent field goal shooting)
Best game as a pro: Jan. 21, 2013 at Charlotte. Exactly one month before being traded to Phoenix, Morris upped his value by pouring in 21 points, eight rebounds, two blocks and a steal in Houston's 100-94 win over Charlotte. The stat-stuffing performance was even more impressive given its efficiency: 7-for-12 from the field and a trio of three-pointers on seven attempts.
