Eric Bledsoe
At a glance: 6-1, 195 pounds, 23 years old
2012-13 stats: 20.4 minutes, 8.5 points, 3.1 assists, 1.4 steals per game
How he got here: Acquired in a trade with the Los Angeles Clippers on July 10, 2013.
What he brings to the table: Potential untapped. It's fun to imagine just how good Bledsoe can be, but the man himself has been far more business-like about seeing it actually happen heading into his first year as a likely starter. What he can already do includes out-run everyone else on the floor, jump out of the gym, and pilfer opposing players who don't see him sneaking up from behind.
Goal: Decrease rate of turnovers (pro-rated 3.2 turnovers per 36 minutes)
Best game as a pro: Feb. 3 at Boston. Filling in for the injured Chris Paul, Bledsoe turned in one of the many performances that made him one of the most highly coveted trade targets this offseason. The former Kentucky standout finished with 23 points, 10 assists, seven rebounds, two steals and a block before the Clippers ultimately fell by two.
