- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Open to all residents of Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach Counties who are at least 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees and the immediate families of Papa Johns Restaurants, LLC, the Miami Heat, the National Basketball Association and its Member teams, NBA Properties, Inc., NBA Media Ventures, LLC, American Airlines Arena, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents are ineligible. Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to federal, state and local regulation.
- To enter, Mail in Box Topper found on Papa Johns Pizza boxes, on www.heat.com or mail in a 3x5 card detailing you name, address, email address and telephone number(s) to Miami HEAT/Papa Johns VIP Experience Sweepstakes, 601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, FL 33132 ATTN: Corporate Partnerships. The Miami Heat, Papa Johns , the National Basketball Association and its Member teams, NBA Properties, Inc., NBA Media Ventures, LLC, are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, mutilated, deleted or ineligible entries nor for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by the Miami Heat on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. If for any reason the program is not capable of running as planned, due to, for example, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Miami Heat which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, the Miami Heat reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Caution: Any attempt by a contestant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Miami Heat reserves the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent of the law. Miami HEAT / Papa Johns VIP Experience Contest begins at 9:00 am (EST) October 27, 2008 and ends at 5:00 pm (EST) December 4, 2008. All mail in entries must be postmarked no later than December 4, 2008 and received on or before December 8, 2008.
- Enter one (1) time only. Entries become the property of the Miami Heat. Entry into the promotion will serve as authorization for the NBA, Miami Heat or Papa Johns to contact entrants for future marketing purposes. The Miami Heat reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend this Contest or any part of this Contest should any virus, bug, non-authorized intervention, telecommunications or computer failure, or malfunction, or other causes beyond its control, corrupt or impair the security, administration, fairness and/or operation of this Contest as determined by The Miami Heat in its sole discretion. The Miami Heat, Papa Johns, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc. and NBA Media Ventures, LLC are not responsible for injury or damage to participants (or any other persons) computer, modem, or other electronic device, related to or resulting from participating or receiving materials in this Contest, or any other liability or damage of any kind related to this Contest.
- One (1) winner will be selected at the end of the promotion in a random drawing on December 9, 2008 from among all eligible entries. Winner can invite up to 3 guests for a total of four (4) participants, to attend the Miami HEAT Game against the New Jersey Nets on January 3, 2009. Winner will be notified by e-mail. Failure to respond within 3 days of notification will result in disqualification and the awarding of the prize to an alternate winner. Winner may not substitute or transfer prizes or obtain cash equivalent, but Papa Johns LLC and Miami Heat reserve the right to substitute prizes with prizes of equal or greater values.
- All prizes will be awarded. Odds of winning the prize depends upon the number of eligible entries received on or before the drawing date. Winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility as well as a liability and publicity release within three (3) days of prize notification. Guests may be required to sign a liability and publicity release prior to participating in the prize on or before the date determined solely by the Heat. In the event of non-compliance within this time period, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
- Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Papa Johns, the Miami HEAT, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., NBA Media Ventures, LLC and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents to use winners name, biographical information, and/or likeness in any and all advertising, promotions, or other publicity without further compensation, authorization, or remuneration of any kind, as permitted by law.
- Prize will consist of (4) tickets to see the Miami HEAT play the New Jersey Nets on January 3, 2009, a behind the scenes tour, pre-game photo on the HEAT floor, VIP pre-game dinner at the AmericanAirlines Arena, post-game meet and greet with a Miami HEAT player. Prize ARV is $1,000.00. Miami HEAT will solely determine the date on which prize delivery will occur. Taxes on prizes, if any, are the responsibility of individual winners. All other expenses not specified herein are winners responsibility, including transportation to and from the AmericanAirlines Arena for the game, parking and any other associated incidentals.
- By entering the Contest, entrant agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless Papa Johns, the Miami HEAT, the AmericanAirlines Arena, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., NBA Media Ventures, LLC, Basketball Properties, Ltd., Miami Heat Limited Partnership, the County of Miami-Dade, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, partners, officers, governors, employees and agents harmless from and against any and all losses, liability, costs, expenses, damages, rights, claims and/or actions (however named or described), resulting directly or indirectly from participation in this Contest and/or acceptance, possession or use of any prize awarded in this Contest, including without limitation, personal injuries, death and property damage. By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by all official rules of this Contest and the decisions of Papa Johns and the Miami HEAT are binding and final.
