2019 HEAT Red, White & Pink Game Details

Here's your first chance to check out your new-look Miami HEAT live:

On Sunday, October 6th beginning at 4:00 p.m. your Miami HEAT will host its HEAT “Red, White & Pink” Game benefiting Miami Cancer Institute at Baptist Health South Florida—an open scrimmage that will include the current 2019-20 roster. The game will take place at AmericanAirlines Arena. Doors to the Arena will open at 3:00 p.m.

The event is open to the public and tickets are now available via HEAT.com and the Miami HEAT App. Tickets cost $1.00 each with proceeds benefiting cancer care and research at Miami Cancer Institute. Additionally, there is an eight-ticket maximum per transaction. Parking will be available for $5.00 in the P2 Garage.

The team’s exclusive television broadcast partner, FOX Sports Sun, will provide live coverage of the event with Eric Reid, John Crotty and Jason Jackson bringing you all the action from courtside. The event will also be streamed live on the FOX Sports App and FoxSportsGo.com. Additionally, 790 AM The Ticket will broadcast the event live as the HEAT Radio Network team of Mike Inglis, Ruth Riley Hunter and Tommy Tighe will be joined by 790 AM The Ticket midday hosts, Jonathan Zaslow and Amber Wilson.

The Red, White & Pink Game will resemble a regular NBA game with four quarters and a halftime, and will also feature many elements of the HEAT Experience performances. HEAT fans will get a close-up look at the 2019-20 team. The team has incorporated the color pink into the scrimmage for the sixth consecutive year in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. HEAT players will wear a special edition Red, White & Pink jersey. The Miami HEAT Store will sell a special Court Culture t-shirt, with proceeds benefiting the Miami Cancer Institute.

The charitable component of the game is part of a philanthropic partnership among the Miami HEAT, Miami Cancer Institute and Entercom, which are teaming up in the fight against cancer with “HEAT.HELP. CURE,” representing “Join the HEAT. You can HELP. Find a CURE.” The 13-hour HEAT.HELP. CURE Radiothon will run on five of Entercom’s most popular stations in November, and will feature ‘live’ interviews with HEAT players and legends, Miami Cancer Institute physicians and cancer survivors, who will share stories of hope and inspiration.

Additionally, the inaugural “Dribble Drive Against Cancer” will take to the streets of Miami on November 16th. For information on the three-tiered event or to register, visit HeatHelpCure.org.
