HEAT Set NBA Record From The Free-Throw Line

-The National Basketball Association is 76 years old this season, and never before had a team shot a perfect 40-of-40 from the free-throw line, much less shot 40-of-40 from the free-throw line in a one-point victory.

-The Dallas Mavericks were the previous record holders at 39-of-39, accomplished in 1982.

-Jimmy Butler tied Dominique Wilkins for the second-most free-throws made without a miss, at 23-of-23, in league history (also a franchise record, naturally). James Harden holds the record with 24 makes without a miss.

-Butler was also the first player in league history to score 35 or more points with six or fewer made field-goals.
