MIAMI – As the holiday shopping season gets underway, the Miami HEAT announced it will rechristen the traditional “Black Friday” date as White Hot Friday as the team unveils its new White Hot uniforms and launches various White Hot retail promotions and activities beginning on November 23.
The Unveiling of the White Hot Uniforms
The HEAT will unveil their White Hot uniform on Saturday, November 24 when they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. The uniform will be available at retail for the first time on White Hot Friday, November 23. The White Hot uniform recognizes the success of the HEAT color-themed Playoff campaigns, highlighted by the two White Hot Championships in 2006 and 2012. The White Hot uniform is bold and sleek, an all-white garment with white team name, numeral and logo elements, highlighted by black trim. The White Hot uniform will become the team’s Saturday game uniform for the season, with two other nationally-televised home game dates included amongst the wearing schedule. The dates the team will wear the White Hot uniform include: November 24, December 1, December 6, December 8, December 15, December 22, February 10 and April 6.
White Hot Friday Door Buster Sale
HEAT fans hungry for holiday bargains can head to The Miami HEAT Store at Dolphin Mall for the “White Hot Friday Door Buster Sale” presented by adidas. Beginning on Thanksgiving evening, Thursday, November 22nd at 9:00 p.m. and continuing through Friday, November 23rd at 10:00 p.m., customers who spend $150 or more on adidas products at The Miami HEAT Store at Dolphin Mall will get two free tickets to an upcoming HEAT home game. Tickets are limited and the offer is good while supplies last.
White Hot Weekend Ticket Plan
HEAT fans can make their Saturdays a whole lot hotter by purchasing the “White Hot Weekend Plan,” which includes tickets to four Saturday games—all for just $120. The “White Hot Weekend Plan” includes four games on successive Saturday evenings featuring the HEAT in their White Hot uniforms against the Brooklyn Nets (December 1), the New Orleans Hornets (December 8), the Washington Wizards (December 15) and the Utah Jazz (December 22).
