The Most Fashionable Courtside Seat Holder in the NBA

Radmila Lolly is a fashion designer, opera singer, composer, and HEAT courtside ticket holder. Her unique style and custom fashion designs have been staples during HEAT home games. We got to sit down with Radmila to learn more about her and her personal style.

How would you describe your overall style?
Bold! It’s also a range from classic and elegant to adventurous and risk-taking.

You always rock the greatest pieces. How do you think fashion has evolved over the years?
I feel like we used to have such strong trends to follow and they would define entire eras. Nowadays, we have so many trends happening so quickly and from so many different eras that we can mingle them all together to create our own personal style.

Totally. Do you have a favorite HEAT gameday outfit that you’ve worn?
My favorite outfit (not because of the outfit itself but what it represents from my first game), was the opening night of the 2019-20 season. Looking back, it was the beginning of a new chapter. I had no idea what was coming and how the team would soon become my family. Also, my favorite HEAT team member, a.k.a. Burnie, came up and danced with me while wearing matching outfits!

Tell us more about the amazing HEAT jersey dresses that you designed. What inspired you to create the garment?
In the 2019-20 season, my first year as a ticketholder, I would observe the fans and wanted to make sure that despite my fashion sense, I could still show my support for the HEAT as they did. So, I bought a bunch of jerseys, about 14-15 of them in XXXL (I needed the most material for my gown), and then boom… COVID! During COVID, I put the dress together but still didn’t wear it until the following year as I felt it wasn’t appropriate as we were still coming out of COVID. I finally felt the time was right during the 2021-22 season, just in time for the NBA Playoffs!

What’s a piece of advice you’d give to someone looking to step up their fashion game?
First, don’t be afraid of what people will think and be yourself. If you feel like you’re too stuck in your own way and want to experiment, start in small ways and stretch little by little (just like starting yoga!). For example, if you like to wear pants, try a jumpsuit for a change. I truly believe the HEAT games can be a whole night out experience, the perfect opportunity to dress up. Anyone that might give you a look at your shiny dress is just jealous!
