Scouting Operations Coordinator

Jeff Saunders enters his tenth season with the HEAT and second as the Scouting Operations Coordinator. He previously served as the Scouting Operations Assistant for the prior five seasons after having originally joined the organization as a Basketball Operations intern.

Saunders handles all of the logistics pertaining to the team’s scouting operations. He is responsible for the credentialing of advance and personnel scouts, as well as the coordination of travel for HEAT players, two-way players, affiliate players and all predraft workout participants. Furthermore, he organizes and maintains the HEAT’s domestic and international scouting database for all potential draft picks.

A native of New York, Saunders graduated from Syracuse University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s in Sports Management. He currently resides in Edgewater.
