GM's Name Giannis NBA's Best International Player

The preseason accolades for Giannis Antetokounmpo keep pouring in.

In the NBA’s annual survey of all 30 NBA general managers, Giannis received the most votes for ‘Who is the best international player in the NBA?’ with 27.6 percent of the vote. He was ahead of guys like Marc Gasol, Dirk Nowitzki, Kristaps Porzingis and Pau Gasol.

The Greek Freak also made the top three of most versatile players in the NBA, finishing second behind only LeBron James. While James held a commanding 75.0 percent of the votes, Giannis was second with 10 percent, but still ahead of players such as Draymond Green, Kevin Duran and Kawhi Leonard. Giannis was also ranked fifth in the “most athletic” category and received votes in the “most likely have a breakout season in 2016-17” category.

A few other Bucks found their way onto the survey results, with Matthew Dellavedova ranking sixth in the “toughest player in the NBA” category, while he also received votes in the “most underrated player acquisition” category.

Rookies Thon Maker and Malcolm Brogdon both received votes in the ‘”biggest steal at where he was selected in the Draft” and Jason Terry tied for fourth in the rankings of “Which active player will make the best head coach someday?”
