Mock Drafts

Predictions

No one really knows whom the Bucks will draft on June 27 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. Not Draft Express, not Larry Drew. Not I, not you. Not even John Hammond.

Still that does not stop people from predicting. And there is some fun in that. In the feeling of the unknown, the new.

20 Mock Drafts

There are more than 20 mock drafts out there. The search for “NBA Mock Draft 2013” returns more than 29 million results on Google. But some are more informed and insightful than others.

This time, I narrowed the list to 20 websites/authors. Even within this group, a few stand out as authoritative sources. Like: Draft Express.

Typically, mock drafts attempt to predict the draft. Although, some are more recommendations than predictions. It can get confusing. In any event, I don’t watch a ton of college hoops (there is another league that wraps me up…), during the season, so there is a lot of catching up to do. I am not here to write my own mock draft. Yet.

With 20 mock drafts, we should have a decent look at potential #15 picks. But we never really know.

The Prospects

The consensus is… there is no consensus. Even the most common pick (Kentavious Caldwell-Pope) earns just 20 % of the total share.
On to some quick thoughts about the 11 prospects linked to the Bucks.
