The Golden State Warriors announced today that the Santa Cruz Warriors will host a home game against the Austin Spurs at Chase Center on Saturday, March 14, marking the fourth time the G League team has played on Golden State’s home court. The game, which is presented by Adobe, takes place on Stephen Curry’s 32nd birthday and the first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a Stephen Curry Birthday Edition Bobblehead (pictured left) as part of the celebration.

The Santa Cruz Warriors hold a 1-2 record in games played on Golden State’s home court, and have drew crowds of over 14,000 fans to Oracle Arena, including a then new single-game NBA G League attendance record in February 2017 with a crowd of 17,497 in attendance (now held by Raptors 905 who drew a crowd of 18,900 in December 2017).

The Santa Cruz Warriors, the NBA G League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors, are celebrating their eighth season in Northern California. Santa Cruz finished the 2018-19 season with a league-best-tying 34-16 record and the second Pacific Division title in franchise history. Starting in 2019-20, all Santa Cruz Warriors games will be broadcast locally on NBC Sports Bay Area or, on occasion, exclusively on national television broadcast. The franchise currently owns a league-high 79 game home sellout streak and is on track to hit 100 sellouts during the season finale on March 28, 2020.
