THE BULLS MAKE LONE VISIT TO BAY AREA
The Warriors host the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night for their first and only visit Chase Center this season. In their two meetings last season, the Dubs posted 146-or-more points against the Bulls in each contest, which included a visit to Chicago where Klay Thompson set an NBA record with 14 made 3-pointers in a game; the Warriors will celebrate the achievement when they host the Bulls on Wednesday with a commemorative “Headband Klay” bobblehead, courtesy of Lucky, available to the first 10,000 fans in attendance.

Wednesday night will also be the debut of the newest edition of “The Town” jerseys, which pay homage to Oakland, the Warriors’ home over the previous 47 years.

LAST TIME OUT
The Warriors held the lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder for most of Monday’s game, but the Thunder went on a 13-0 run at the end of the fourth quarter to steal a 100-97 win from the Dubs.Full Recap

SETTING NEW HIGHS
Two Dubs raised the bar on themselves in Monday’s loss to the Thunder by setting new career-highs in scoring. Glenn Robinson III finished the game with a game-high 25 points, surpassing his previous career-high of 20 which he matched earlier this season on Nov. 19. Ky Bowman added to his stellar rookie campaign with a new record of 24 points and has now scored in double digits in four of his last five games. In addition, Bowman has a streak of nine straight games with at least one steal, and he has racked up five steals in the last two games.

TEAM LEADERS

CHICAGO SCOUTING REPORT
On Saturday, Chicago guard Zach LaVine capped a career-high 49-point effort with a game-winning 3-pointer to beat the Hornets. That was his 13th splash of the game, joining Warriors guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson as the only players in NBA history with at least 13 made threes in a game — Thompson made an NBA record 14 threes against LaVine’s Bulls in October of 2018, an event that provides the inspiration behind Wednesday’s bobblehead giveaway at Chase Center. Despite LaVine’s output — he averages a team-high 21.1 points per game — the Bulls have won just two of their last seven games and are in the bottom third of NBA teams in several offensive categories. Chicago, however is opportunistic on defense, leading the league in both steals and points off turnovers, making ball protection a top priority for the Dubs as they seek their second home win of the season.
