76ers Postgame Notes & Quotes:

The Philadelphia 76ers took home a 131-113 win over the Charlotte Hornets. The 76ers have now scored at least 120 points in three straight games, tied for the longest active streak in the league and is the longest such streak for the team since they did so in five straight from Feb. 17-Mar. 4, 2022 (Stathead).

In the second quarter, the 76ers scored 41 points, marking a season best for points in a single frame through 26 games this season (Stathead).

JOEL EMBIID scored 53 points on 20-of-32 shooting (2-3 3-PT), marking his second 50-point game this season. Embiid is the first player in the NBA this season to produce multiple 50-point games, and is the first center to do so in a single season since Hall of Famer DAVID ROBINSON in 1993-94. He is the first 76er with multiple games of 50-plus points since Hall of Famer ALLEN IVERSON had three such contests during the 2004-05 season (Stathead).

Embiid logged his fourth career 50-point, 10-rebound game, tied for the third most by a single player since the 1981-82 season (Sportradar).

Both of Embiid's 50-point games this year have come over the last nine contests played, making him the third player in franchise history to log two 50-point games within a nine-game stretch (Chamberlain, Iverson).

While shooting 62.5% (20-32 FG) from the floor, Embiid joins Hall of Famer MICHAEL JORDAN as the only players since the NBA/ABA merger to have at least four games of at least 50 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 60% from the field (Basketball Reference).

This outing also extended Embiid’s streak of 35-point performances to four, the longest streak by any player this season (Stathead).

Since Nov. 30, Embiid's 36.8 ppg scoring mark is ranked first among NBA players during that stretch.

JAMES HARDEN finished with 19 points (6-12 FG), nine rebounds, and 16 assists to capture his 30th career game with 15 points and 15 assists. He's one of 13 players in league history to accomplish that feat (Stathead).

Tonight marks the third time Harden has recorded 15 points and 15 assists as a 76er, tied for fifth in team history. Harden's four games of 15+ assists rank fourth in team history (Stathead).
