It’s official: The 76ers’ 2022-23 regular-season schedule has been revealed.

As announced by the NBA and the Sixers on Wednesday, the team will be featured on the NBA’s 2022-23 Opening Night, visiting the defending Eastern Conference Champion Boston Celtics on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The Sixers’ home opener will be Thursday, Oct. 20, hosting the Milwaukee Bucks at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The schedule features 13 back-to-backs and 34 nationally-televised regular-season contests.

Eighty-two games later, the Sixers’ regular season will close on Sunday, April 9 at Brooklyn.

All three of the Sixers’ 2022 Eastern Conference Semifinal rematches with the Miami Heat come following the All-Star Break: Monday, Feb. 27 in Philadelphia (7:00 p.m. ET on NBA TV), Wednesday, March 1 in Miami (7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSP), and Thursday, April 6 in Philadelphia (7:30 p.m. ET on TNT).

The Sixers open their preseason slate on Oct. 3 in Brooklyn, facing the Nets at 7:30 p.m. ET. The team will then play a home-and-home with the Cleveland Cavaliers, in Philadelphia at 7:00 p.m. ET on Oct. 5, and in Cleveland at 7:00 p.m. ET on Oct. 10. The preseason closer comes Oct. 12 at 7:00 p.m. ET, as the Sixers host the Charlotte Hornets.

PHILADELPHIA – AUG. 17, 2022 – A reoccurring presence in the national spotlight, an opening-night showdown against the reigning Eastern Conference Champions, and a prime-time Christmas Day matchup at Madison Square Garden highlight the Philadelphia 76ers 2022-23 campaign, after the NBA announced today the 82-game schedules for all 30 teams. In addition to a strong presence on national TV, the team will once again have wire-to-wire local coverage throughout the season on television on NBC Sports Philadelphia and on the radio on 97.5 The Fanatic.

The 76ers will tip off the NBA’s 77th season against the Boston Celtics at TD Garden on Tuesday, Oct. 18, in what will serve as the league’s first game of the new campaign. The team will then host its home opener, presented by Independence Blue Cross, against the Milwaukee Bucks at The Center on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m. ET. Both games will air on TNT, marking the first two of 34 games in which Philadelphia will be featured across ABC, ESPN, TNT, and NBA TV throughout the 2022-23 regular season.

Philadelphia will see its share of marquee matchups early in the new season, with five of its first seven games coming against 2021-22 playoff qualifiers. The Sixers will also conclude the regular season with 12 consecutive matchups against playoff teams from the previous year.

For the first time since 2019 – and just the fifth time since 1990 – the 76ers will play on Christmas Day as one of 10 teams participating in the league’s five-game slate on Dec. 25. Philadelphia will play at New York, marking the franchise’s first Christmas Day game at Madison Square Garden since 2017. The 76ers are 18-14 in games played on Christmas, including two wins in their last three contests.

· The NBA announced that no games will be played on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022, in an effort to focus on promoting and encouraging fans to make a plan to vote during midterm elections.

· Philadelphia will host the defending champion, Golden State Warriors on Friday, Dec. 16 (7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN).

· The 76ers will have 17 weekend games (nine Fridays, five Saturdays, three Sundays) at The Center.

· Philadelphia is slated for 13 sets back-to-back games, four of which will come on the road in the month of March.

· In March, Philadelphia will have 12 away games, marking the most games away from The Center for a single month this season.

· Philadelphia’s longest road trip of the season runs eight days and five games in length from Jan. 14-21. This includes games against Utah (Saturday, Jan. 14, 10 p.m. ET), the Los Angeles Lakers (Sunday, Jan. 15, 9:30 p.m. ET, NBA TV), the LA Clippers (Tuesday, Jan. 17, 10 p.m. ET, TNT), Portland (Thursday, Jan. 19, 10 p.m., ET), and Sacramento (Saturday, Jan. 21, 10 p.m. ET).

· The 76ers longest homestand of 2022-23 is seven games over 15 days from Dec. 9-23. This stretch includes games against the Lakers (Friday, Dec. 9, 7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN), Hornets (Sunday, Dec. 11, 6 p.m. ET), Kings (Tuesday, Dec. 13, 7 p.m. ET), Warriors (Friday, Dec. 16, 7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN), Raptors (Monday, Dec. 19, 7 p.m. ET), Pistons (Wednesday, Dec. 21, 7 p.m. ET), and Clippers (Friday, Dec. 23, 7 p.m. ET).

PHILADELPHIA – AUG. 5, 2022 – The Philadelphia 76ers announced today that its 2022 preseason will feature four exhibition games. The slate begins when the 76ers travel to Brooklyn on Monday, Oct.3 to take on the Nets at Barclays Center at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The team then returns back home to face Cleveland on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at The Center at 7 p.m. ET, which will be followed by a second meeting with the Cavaliers at 7 p.m. ET on Monday, Oct. 10 on the road at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Philadelphia’s preseason slate wraps up at home against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. ET.

All four of the 76ers preseason games will air on the radio on the team’s flagship radio station, 97.5 The Fanatic. Both home games (Oct. 5 vs. Cleveland and Oct. 12 vs. Charlotte) will be telecast on NBC Sports Philadelphia.
