Philadelphia 76ers 2022-23 Regular Season Schedule: Important Dates and Key Matchups

It’s official: The 76ers’ 2022-23 regular-season schedule has been revealed.

As announced by the NBA and the Sixers on Wednesday, the team will be featured on the NBA’s 2022-23 Opening Night, visiting the defending Eastern Conference Champion Boston Celtics on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The Sixers’ home opener will be Thursday, Oct. 20, hosting the Milwaukee Bucks at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The schedule features 13 back-to-backs and 34 nationally-televised regular-season contests.

Eighty-two games later, the Sixers’ regular season will close on Sunday, April 9 at Brooklyn.

All three of the Sixers’ 2022 Eastern Conference Semifinal rematches with the Miami Heat come following the All-Star Break: Monday, Feb. 27 in Philadelphia (7:00 p.m. ET on NBA TV), Wednesday, March 1 in Miami (7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSP), and Thursday, April 6 in Philadelphia (7:30 p.m. ET on TNT).

The Sixers open their preseason slate on Oct. 3 in Brooklyn, facing the Nets at 7:30 p.m. ET. The team will then play a home-and-home with the Cleveland Cavaliers, in Philadelphia at 7:00 p.m. ET on Oct. 5, and in Cleveland at 7:00 p.m. ET on Oct. 10. The preseason closer comes Oct. 12 at 7:00 p.m. ET, as the Sixers host the Charlotte Hornets.
