Preston (6-3, 181, Ohio) has played in 17 games (16 starts) for the NBA G League’s Memphis Hustle (Memphis Grizzlies affiliate) this season, averaging 12.4 points on 48.1 percent shooting, 8.6 assists, and 7.9 rebounds&nbsp; in 31.0 minutes of action and also has NBA experience, having appeared in 14 career games for the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2022-23 season, owning averages of 2.9 points, 1.9 assists, and 1.6 rebounds in 8.9 minutes per contest.&nbsp;

Drafted in the second round (no. 33 overall) of the 2021 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic before being traded to the Clippers, the 24-year old guard has additional experience in the NBA G League with the Ontario Clippers (2022-23), where he was assigned for 21 games, averaging 16.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 6.9 assists.&nbsp;

The Coral Springs, Fla., native played three collegiate seasons at Ohio (2018-21), where he earned First Team All-MAC honors after the 2020-21 season, owning career averages of 12.6 points, 5.5 boards, and 5.9 assists in 34.1 minutes. Preston was named Most Valuable Player of the MAC tournament after leading the Bobcats to the conference title in 2021.

The Utah Jazz have signed and subsequently waived guard Isaiah Miller.&nbsp;

Miller (6-0, 190, UNC Greensboro) spent the 2022-23 season with Utah’s G League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars, where he saw action in 29 games (four starts), and averaged 7.8 points and 4.2 rebounds during the regular season.&nbsp;

The Covington, Ga., native played with the Jazz entries at the 2022 Salt Lake City Summer League and NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, posting averages of 3.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.3 steals in four games.&nbsp;

The 25-year-old played four collegiate seasons at UNC Greensboro, where he saw action in 132 games (80 starts), tallying averages of 14.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2.4 steals in 25.6 minutes per game. He earned Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors three times (2019-21), and the Southern Conference Player of the Year twice (2020-21).

The Utah Jazz have signed center Walker Kessler. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.

Kessler (7-1, 245, Auburn) was originally drafted by Memphis in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft (22nd overall) with his draft rights being acquired by Minnesota before being traded to Utah. During his final collegiate season at Auburn, the 20-year-old averaged 11.4 points on 60.8 percent from the field, 8.1 rebounds, 4.6 blocks (tied for first in NCAA) and 1.1 steals in 34 games (all starts), being named to the 2021-22 All-SEC First Team and All-SEC Defensive Team, also earning 2021-22 SEC Defensive Player of the Year honors. He was additionally named to the AP All-American Third Team and selected as the 2021-22 NABC Defensive Player of the Year.

The native of Newnan, Ga. spent his first collegiate season at North Carolina in 2020-21, where he appeared in 29 games, averaging 4.4 points on 57.8 percent from the field and 3.2 rebounds in 8.8 minutes per contest.
