Bulls TV ratings score in November on CSN

Chicago, IL (December 1, 2009) – Comcast SportsNet, the television home for the most games and most comprehensive coverage of the Chicago Bulls, posted significant television ratings for the first month of the 2009-10 NBA season, which resulted in solid game and post-game ratings increases compared to last season.

Comcast SportsNet’s Bulls game ratings scored a 2.90 household average in November (approx. 101,529 households watching per game) -- a 41% increase over last November’s 2.06 average.

The key advertiser demos of Men 25-54 and Adults 25-54 also received solid ratings increases compared to last season. For Men 25-54, November monthly ratings were up 57% (2.2 in Nov. ’09, compared to a 1.4 in Nov. ’08). For Adults 25-54, November monthly ratings increased 67% (1.5 in Nov. ’09, compared to a 0.9 in Nov. ’08).

On November 10 vs. Denver, Comcast SportsNet delivered its second-highest ever Bulls regular season rating to date with a 4.3 household rating (approx. 150,543 Chicago TV homes tuned in).

In addition to its ratings increases for game telecasts, Comcast SportsNet’s Toyota Bulls Post Game Live household ratings were up a solid 75% compared to last November. Source for all ratings information is provided by Nielsen Media Research overnights.
