Game Night From The United Center: Pre Season #2

New Orleans (1-0) at Bulls (0-1) 7PM
TV: NBCSC: Neil Funk and Stacey King 7PM
Radio: 670 The Score. Chuck Swirsky, Bill Wennington and David Schuster 6:45PM pre game.

Preview: The Bulls will look to clean things up after losing to the Bucks Monday night. The Bulls did do a number of things right as they went to the foul line 38 times and committed only 11 turnovers. Lauri Markkanen and Zach LaVine were solid as were newcomers Coby White and Daniel Gafford. Both rookies brought tons of energy to the game.

White scored 12 points on Monday as he went to the line eight times:

"I'm learning. I'm taking a big step. Every day is a process. Trying to get better each and every day... Making better decisions offensively. I think I took some shots that were there. It's just a matter of knocking them down." - White

Injury Update:

"Hutchison was limited (today). Harrison is out. Carter is doubtful. He did run today, which was good. Archie had a little stiffness in his back. Kornet practiced full (today), is questionable.- Coach Boylen

The Pelicans have a revamped roster after an off season blockbuster trade sending Anthony Davis to the Lakers. With the addition of Zion Williamson, New Orleans is laying the foundation for a long run of potential greatness in the Western Conference. Williamson was impressive (16-7-3) in the Pelicans 133-109 win over the Hawks Monday night. Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball along with Josh Hart came over from the Lakers in the Davis transaction and will bolster the Pelicans lineup. Jrue Holiday is a rock solid competitor. He plays both ends of the floor and does his job night in and night out. He's the consummate professional. The Pelicans added JJ Redick in the off season and on any given night he's able to take over a game with his outside shooting. Hart is questionable with knee soreness.
