Bulls Sign Terry, Freeman-Liberty. Lewis inked to a Two-Way deal

The Chicago Bulls announced that the team has signed guard Dalen (DAY-lynn) Terry, Javon Freeman-Liberty and Justin Lewis. In accordance with team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Terry (6-7, 195, 7/12/02), the 18th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, played two seasons at Arizona. In 63 games (51 starts), the Phoenix native produced averages of 6.6 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.9 apg and 1.03 spg in 24.9 mpg. He also shot .477 from the floor, .350 from behind the arc and .680 from the line. For his play in 2022, he earned Honorable Mention All-Pac-12 and Pac-12 All-Defensive Team honors.

Freeman-Liberty (6-4, 180, 10/20/99) played collegiately at Valparaiso (2018-20) and DePaul (2020-22). Over four seasons, he appeared in 104 games (104 starts) and averaged 16.5 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 2.7 apg and 1.88 spg in 32.8 mpg. In 2019-20, he ranked first in points scored (628) in the Missouri Valley Conference, and he led the Big East in scoring (21.7 ppg) in 2021-22. He earned MVC All-Freshman honors in 2019, First Team All-MVC in 2020, All-MVC Tournament honors in 2020, MVC All-Defense in 2019 and 2020, and Second Team All-Big East accolades in 2022. A native of Chicago, he starred at Whitney Young High School before enjoying a successful collegiate career.

Lewis (6-7, 245, 4/12/02) recently concluded his term at Marquette. In two seasons with the Golden Eagles, he produced 13.2 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 1.3 apg and 0.81 spg in 27.8 mpg. This past season, he garnered All-Big East First Team honors, and was named the Big East Most Improved Player, as he tallied 16.8 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 1.7 apg and 1.09 spg in 32.2 mpg.

As a two-way player, Lewis will split his time between Chicago and its G League affiliate, the Windy City Bulls.
