Bulls raise awareness for World AIDS Day

November 30, 2012 – The Chicago Bulls will join the NBA and a number of other teams around the league to raise awareness for World AIDS Day at their game on Saturday, December 1.

As part of World AIDS Day, Bulls players will wear special World AIDS Day apparel including red and white adidas shooting shirts, headbands, and wristbands. Additionally, the coaching staff, broadcasters and in-game entertainment crew will all wear red ribbons in honor of the day.

The team will also support World AIDS Day by airing a public service announcement provided by the NBA during pregame activities and posting information on Facebook and Twitter.

In conjunction with World AIDS Day, the NBA family continues to take a lead role in bringing awareness to the fight against HIV/AIDS by supporting nonprofit organizations that encourage testing and prevention.
