The Golden State Warriors have assigned forward Gui Santos to the team’s G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, it was announced today. Santos is expected to play in Santa Cruz’s game tonight versus the Stockton Kings at Adventist Health Arena (7 p.m. PDT tipoff).
In 28 NBA G League games with Santa Cruz this season, Santos is averaging 14.8 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 28.6 minutes per game. He has appeared in 18 games with Golden State, averaging 3.3 points and 2.4 rebounds in 8.4 minutes per game.
