The Golden State Warriors have assigned forward Gui Santos to the team’s G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, it was announced today. Santos is expected to play in Santa Cruz’s game tomorrow afternoon versus the Rio Grande Valley Vipers at Chase Center (12:30 p.m. PDT tipoff).
In 24 NBA G League games with Santa Cruz this season, Santos is averaging 14.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 27.9 minutes per game. He has appeared in 17 games with Golden State, averaging 3.5 points and 2.6 rebounds in 8.7 minutes per game.
